High-Speed Validation and Assignment of NPIs

Match and substitute your existing provider identification numbers to and from the NPI automatically. Foresight’s flexible validation workflow management system lets you link to both application and external database look-up options for NPI confirmation and assignment.

All data element conversions are logged to enable audit and tracking.

Splitting and Routing

Transaction with properly assigned NPIs are released for immediate processing, while problems are held for review and correction through the NPI Error Correction Facility.

On-screen Error Correction and “Best Candidate” NPI Suggestions

When there is insufficient information for an automatic data replacement, your staff can use the NPI Error Correction Facility to accept from the suggested list of “best candidate” alternatives, or continue researching through links from the Transaction Insight portal to your NPI crosswalk, provider database, and other systems.

When completed, transactions are re-validated and submitted for processing.

Inform your provider community of errors related to NPI with proactive alerts and detailed performance reporting, informing them of claim payment delays, and allowing them to correct problems for future file transmissions.
