Foresight’s Transaction Insight® provides unparalleled
visibility for the healthcare enterprise
DUBLIN, OH, April 27, 2007 –Foresight
Corporation, a leading business solutions company that provides
software and services that improve healthcare and business operations,
announced today the June 2007 availability of Transaction Insight®
(TI) 3.1, marking a significant leap forward for the popular transaction
management platform. With this release, Foresight underscores TI’s
position as the leader in transaction validation and correction,
and establishes its role as the central control point for enterprise-wide
activity reporting and monitoring.
Key to the expanded offering in 3.1 is the Web
Services Interface that provides interoperability of data with
upstream and downstream systems. For the first time in a single
platform, an organization can have a complete view of the entire
transaction lifecycle, gaining visibility into status and error
conditions from multiple adjudication systems, EDI and EAI translation
and integration systems, and other applications such as billing,
payment and fraud-and-abuse detection systems. In addition, TI data
feeds can also be made available to external portals, protecting
a company’s investment in its existing technology.
Another trailblazing development is the introduction
of Business Intelligence Adapters. The adapters allow an
organization to connect to popular BI reporting tools such as Cognos®
or BusinessObjects® - without waiting days, weeks, or months
for a reporting database to refresh;, while maintaining optimum
production processing speed supporting both internal and external
service level agreements.
Together, these advancements provide an organization
with an unparalleled timely, enterprise-wide view of the entire
transaction lifecycle.
“Foresight Transaction Insight is well-positioned
to become the central control point for an enterprise’s infrastructure,
providing transactional visibility to both operations and multiple
lines of business and complementing technologies already in place,”
states Ed Hafner, CTO of Foresight Corporation. “This flexibility
is very important to protecting the investment companies have made
in their current application deployments.”
Brad Berendt, Manager of Solution Architecture,
adds, “The ability to provide and enterprise-wide perspective
using interoperable systems is very important in HIT today. With
new standards and multiple approaches to the same business challenges,
flexibility of deployment within the infrastructure is crucial.
Foresight products give organizations that edge. This versatility
is a testament to Foresight’s product engineering and standards
leadership.”
